When the world was young, two odd Meteors crashed onto this planet. The first hit the land with such great force that it broke into seven parts, while the impact area sank into the sea. This resulted in the creation of several landmasses. The remains of the meteorite, which were under the sea, started breaking up and created the first crystals of the world. These crystals from the pressure and heat would multiply and start radiating and mutating the lands and sea, leading to the creation of life and more advanced life forms. These creatures, slowly evolving from each and every mutation, started to learn how to control the very elements of the world. One of the races grew to the point they were no longer walking on all four like others similar to them, and then they started building small villages, around this time the second odd meteor fell.
The second meteor wasn't as solid as the first: instead of crashing in one spot, it broke apart into seven pieces and crashed into the seven separate lands, each of the pieces causing different mutations to the land around them. When they crashed into the seven regions, they smashed into each area with such force that it warped the features of the areas, as well as the mutations caused by the crystals. This caused the creation of the first Golems, and from the center of the meteor itself rose the first of the titans, giant Elementals that gave purpose to the Golems and aided them in developing their ways of life. Once the humans finally made contact with the titans, the giant Elementals started aiding them as well. From the locations of where the seven Great Golems arose, towering over their brethren, the remains of the meteors recreated the landmarks. A great volcano valley, a sea chasm, a magnificent tree, a crystal cave, a great frozen mountain, a giant canyon, and the great mountain peaks, those landmarks grew in beauty and luster with the growth of the Crystal Spires that grew from the center of those areas.
The humans started worshiping the great titans, and built temples and grand cities around the eight crystals that seemed to help them control their powers even more. With their skills and knowledge, the humans managed to capture and tame the wild animals, and by being so close to the crystals for long amounts of time, the animals started mutating faster than before slowly leading to small groups of them becoming sentient. Conflicts began to rise as the now sentient animals were watching how their lower brethren were treated, while still suffering from the urges of their feral instincts. The Beastfolk finally snapped when the Hume treated them no differently than their primitive relatives and they went to war with the Hume. Lots of blood was spilled from both sides and Humes realized they were losing because of the Beastfolk's new found cunning added to their primal strength and they started to call for the Titans to save them. When the Titans arrived instead of helping the Humes they were angry with them for going to war with a race that grew alongside with them. As punishment by the titans, the Beastfolk are allowed to rule while the titans oversee the humans. The Humes are made to work to earn back their position of power, but the Titans were fair and would make sure that the Hume lived as equals to the Beastfolk and taught both sets of races some of their knowledge and then they went into a state of hibernation and had commanded their servants, the Golem race, enforce the rules and aid both sets of races in daily life. As punishment by the titans, the Beastfolk are allowed to rule while the titans oversee the humans. As punishment by the titans, the Beastfolk are allowed to rule while the titans oversee the humans. The Humes are made to work to earn back their position of power.
Centuries later, the Crystal Spires were starting to crumble. Centuries of corruption and war were starting to take hold of the formerly pure crystals, causing them to crack and decay, doomed to immediate collapse if nothing was done. The titans had no choice but to sacrifice themselves to keep the Spires and world from collapsing, and with their dying breaths they created seven replacement titans. The ailing titans warned the new titans of their limited life, as the original titans didn't have the energy left to give them more life-force. They will have to find their own replacements. Beginning the traditions of the Titans looking for successors when their long lives started to end.
