In the middle of a barren valley in the center of Kaovina, a massive mountain stands tall. However, the entire mountain is not naturally made. Generations ago, the insect beastfolk came together to form a unified brotherhood: the Bitilo. The beastfolks' ancestors worked day and night to amass a large monument to announce their existence. The mountain is filled with a collection of intertwining tunnels that go even deeper underground. Every day, these tunnels get longer and spread out for miles upon miles in every direction. Unlike the hives of their beastly ancestors when life began, a single queen does not rule, but a grand council of kings and queens of each insect species.
The city's main export are various ores, crystals, and anything valuable that can be found in the ground. The main import is honey, fruit, meat, and anything the Bitilo finds edible. There are several entrances into the city, each on in a different direction from the central entrance in the mountain. Each entrance is guarded by a group of beetle soldiers, each one a strong elemental fighter of earth, fire, and shadow.
